NewCookware is a research and comparison site for kitchen and laundry appliances. It is not a shop. Reading the short list below before you write will save you time, because it sets out the things we can genuinely help with and the things we simply cannot.
What we can help with
- Corrections. A specification that does not match the manufacturer’s own documentation, a model number that is wrong, a discontinued machine still being written about in the present tense. Send the page address and what is wrong with it and we will fix it.
- Broken pages and broken links. A link that leads nowhere, a page that will not load, an image that never appears.
- Coverage suggestions. A category you think is thin, or an appliance type we do not cover at all.
- Questions about how the site works. How products are chosen, where the data comes from, how the Amazon affiliate arrangement works.
- Copyright and privacy requests. Handled under the copyright and privacy policy pages.
What we cannot help with
We are not a retailer and we never sell anything. We hold no stock, take no payment and ship nothing. If you bought an appliance on Amazon after reading a page here, your contract is with Amazon and the seller, and we are not part of it. That means we cannot look up, change or cancel an order, cannot track a delivery, cannot process a return, refund or exchange, cannot register or honor a warranty, cannot arrange a repair, an engineer or a service call, and cannot send you a replacement part. Every one of those goes to the seller through your Amazon account, or to the manufacturer’s own support line. Writing to us first only adds a delay.
We also cannot diagnose a broken appliance. We do not physically test, install, run or own the machines described on this site, so we have no way of working out why a washer will not drain, why a fridge is icing up, or what an error code on a particular control panel means. Guessing at that from a distance would be worse than useless, because these machines involve mains electricity, gas, water and venting. Take a fault to the manufacturer’s support line, to an authorized service agent, or to a qualified local technician. For anything involving gas or hardwired electrical work, that means a licensed installer, not a website.
We also do not publish prices, so we cannot tell you what something costs today or whether it is about to be discounted, and we do not accept paid placements, sponsored posts, link insertions or guest articles. Pitches of that kind are deleted unread.
Write to us
By email, at [email protected], or through the form below. Both arrive in the same place, so there is no advantage to sending the same message twice.
If you are reporting a correction or a broken link, please paste the address of the page in question. It is the single thing most likely to get your message answered quickly.
How long a reply takes
Honestly: this is a small site, messages are read by a person and not by an automated system, and there is no support desk sitting behind it. Most messages get a reply within a few working days. Some take longer, and during busy periods a short message that needs no reply may not get one at all. If your message needs an answer and a week has passed, send it again rather than assuming it was ignored.
Corrections are usually acted on faster than they are acknowledged. If you report a wrong specification, the page may well be fixed before you hear back from us.
Please do not send anything sensitive through this form. It is a website contact form, not a secure channel, and a copy of your message is stored in the site database. Keep financial details, identification numbers and passwords out of it.
