Copyright

This page sets out who owns what on newcookware.com, what you may do with it, and how to raise a complaint if you believe something here infringes your rights.

Our content

The written material on this site is ours. That covers the product write-ups, the comparisons, the articles, the category introductions, the site’s structure and navigation, and the layout and design that hold it together. It is protected by copyright.

You are welcome to read it, print a page for your own use, quote a short passage with attribution, and link to any page here. Linking needs no permission at all, and we would rather have a link than a copy.

You may not republish our pages in whole or in substantial part, on a website, in an app, in print or in a newsletter; scrape the site in bulk; spin, paraphrase or translate our text and publish the result as your own; or use our content in a commercial product, including as training material for a commercial model. Republishing with a credit line is still republishing and still needs permission first.

If you want to use something beyond a short quotation, ask. Write to [email protected], say what you want to use and where it will appear, and you will get a straight answer.

Content that is not ours

A large part of what you see on a product page did not originate with us, and we make no claim over it.

  • Product images belong to the manufacturers, to Amazon, or to whoever else created them. They appear here to identify the specific appliance being discussed.
  • Specifications, feature lists and technical data come from manufacturer documentation and from published listing data. Those figures are the manufacturers’ statements about their own products, not ours.
  • Brand names, model names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. They are used descriptively, to say which product a page is about. Their appearance here does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from the brand concerned.
  • Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Some content on this site is supplied by Amazon, is provided as is, and may change or be removed at any time.

Where third-party material appears here it is used to identify and discuss the products covered, which we consider a legitimate descriptive and editorial use. If you own such material and disagree, the procedure below is how to tell us.

Copyright complaints and takedown requests

If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own or control, send a notice to [email protected] with COPYRIGHT in the subject line. To let us act on it, include the following.

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. If several works are involved, a representative list is fine.
  2. The exact URL or URLs on newcookware.com where the material appears, precise enough that we can find it without guessing.
  3. Your name, address and email address, so we can reach you.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that under penalty of perjury you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We take these seriously. A complete notice will be reviewed promptly and, where the complaint is well founded, the material will be removed or replaced. If you are the person whose material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address and explain why, and we will look again.

Please note: the email address above is a general contact address for this site. It is not a DMCA designated agent registered with the United States Copyright Office, and we do not claim to have one. If your notice depends on being served on a registered agent, address it accordingly. Sending it to us anyway will still get it read and acted on.

If you believe your own work has been copied from this site and republished elsewhere, tell us. We would like to know about it too.
