What this means when you click
Most product pages on this site carry a button that takes you to the product’s listing on Amazon. Those buttons, and many of the product links inside the text, are affiliate links. If you follow one and then buy something, Amazon may pay us a commission on that purchase.
The price you pay does not change. The commission is paid by Amazon out of its own margin. You will not pay a cent more for reaching a product through this site than you would by typing the address into your browser yourself, and you will not pay less either. Nothing is added to your order and no discount is withheld from you.
Some links do not point straight at Amazon. They pass through a redirect on a domain we operate, which attaches the tracking information and forwards you to the Amazon listing. The destination is an Amazon storefront either way. The redirect exists so clicks can be counted and broken links found, not to obscure where you are going.
A commission is usually only earned if you buy something within a limited window after clicking. That window, the commission rate and the qualifying conditions are all set by Amazon, not by us, and Amazon changes them from time to time.
How this affects what we write
No manufacturer, brand or retailer pays for coverage on this site, pays to be ranked higher, or reviews our content before it is published. Nobody sends us free products, because we do not accept them and there would be nothing to do with them if we did.
Our write-ups are built from manufacturer specifications, published listing data and aggregated buyer feedback. We do not physically test, install, run or own the appliances we write about. A recommendation here means that the published specifications and the pattern of owner feedback point in a particular direction for a particular kind of buyer. It does not mean anyone here has used the machine, and it should not be read as a substitute for a hands-on review or for professional advice.
Because commissions across the appliance categories we cover are broadly similar, there is no meaningful financial reason to push one model over another. We would still rather you knew the arrangement exists. Judge the reasoning on the page, check specifications against the manufacturer’s own documentation before spending real money, and treat any recommendation as one input rather than an answer.
